Faith, Hope and Love

At a time when there is so much focus on gifts, the scriptures lay all the stress on what we are, rather than what we have. It is said that gifts are a sign of nothing in the Christian live, but graces are a sign of everything. These three messages consider those characteristics of the true Christian life which were to abide when the foundational gifts of the church. Based on 1 Corinthians 13:13, these messages describe the nature of these three graces as they express themselves in those who have come to know the Lord.

• Faith: true faith saves, sanctifies, serves, stands… and stops! It continues until it is transformed into sight.
• Hope: hope waits in weakness as we confidently expect God to bring everything to a successful conclusion.
• Love: 1 Corinthians 13!
